Breeze Shorts for KIDS & TEENS

Shop sales are in British Pounds  CURRENCY CONVERSION

Party, park, picnic or playdate, the Breeze Shorts (for kids and teens) are a perfect addition to their busy days. Featuring an elasticated waistband making them easy to slip on and off, handy side pockets for storing their secret stash of treats and a convenient back pocket because extra pockets mean extra places to hide extra things.

Team their Breeze Shorts with a Strip Tee or a Kite Fold Tee and trainers to keep things cool. But when the sun goes in, just pop on a Hug Hoodie because we all know kids’ legs don’t feel cold [disbelief flushed face emoji].

Also comes in ADULT SIZES because twinning is winning and really rather cute.

Fabric recommendations

Breeze Shorts look great in both woven and knit fabrics, just bear in mind fabrics that are too thick will be bulky at the gathered waist.

Woven: Linen, cotton, cotton blends, flannel, chambray, double gauze, seersucker.

Knit: French Terry, sweatshirting, terry towelling, ponte, jersey.

These shorts are a great sew, they come together so well and have a really fun and unique side pocket construction technique, which I’m very happy to have learned. They are a huge hit with my little one, who said they are “light and comfortable”. He’s very critical when it comes to fit and comfort, so this is a BIG win! 🏆 The spacious pockets really please him too, as he’s a fan of picking up rocks wherever he goes, haha. He asked for several more pairs and keeps digging out the one I made him from the dirty laundry basket, as he just wants to wear them over and over again. I also love that I can twin with him, as the adult version of these shorts is already available. Oh, and I’m a big fan of the “No Frills” tutorials. All the instructions condensed on 2 pages, it’s just great and easy when constructing the garment. Another win from MadeIt Patterns!! Whoooop!

I love the Breeze shorts for kids, love that you can make mini and me combos.
The shorts are playable and looks very nice at the same time! The No Frills instructions are easy to follow and I like that is so few pages to print.

Such a great wardrobe staple, but with special details and lots of pockets! Fun to make with the pocket and waistband details, my daughter will be having lots of pairs!
