A really challenging pattern for me (especially because I always need to grade the hip), with those diagonal lines, split feature and invisible zip pocket. But I glided smoothly due to the clear instruction. I made one in IKEA fabric (matchy matchy with their throw pillow haha) without hood and elastic cuff. I still want another Glide with hood

Great pattern! Made one with hood – love it – and now planning for a Glide with collar. It took a while but the tutorial and the sew-along helped me to make this fabulous jacket!

Great pattern! Love the design and the fit. I’d never sewn a lined item. Reading the complete instructions before starting I indentified some points where I thought I would need help, but it turned out to be so clear going step by step. Since I always have to add length (i’m 183cm) I was a little hesitant, but it was easier than I thought with the extra instructions. My glide turned out way better than I had hoped for! Will make another one for sure!

Could this be the perfect jacket pattern ever designed? Yes! The unique geometric design stands out in a sea of saminess and the pattern is precision personified:every piece slots into place delightfully and every notch aligns with satisfaction. This is a satisfyingly challenging sew and the most fun I’ve ever had as the instructions and photos are so thorough there was no panic at any stage of the make. It took me several days but came out brilliant the first time, and I’m a barely intermediate sewer who can still be relied upon to screw up a simple skirt pattern occasionally. This is a truly great jacket pattern. But if you are looking for fitted and svelte, look elsewhere. This is roomy and boxy, just how I like it!

The moment I saw this pattern I knew I had to make one! I ended up making two, one with hood and the other without. I love them both and wear them with skirts and dresses as well as with jeans. Check my insta for pics! https://www.instagram.com/frkwibergab_sewing/

Such a great pattern. Love the sharp lines and geometric style with integrated invibel zip. Made one for my teen son and he looks SO good in it.
It requires some sewing skills, but there is a great step by step illustrated tutorial and the pattern pieces fits perfectly together!

What an amazing pattern!! The construction is amazing and I learned several new techniques along the way. And just like every Made It pattern I have worked with the tutorial was fun and made me feel like a rock star. I am thrilled with my new jacket!

I love this jacket. I actually wear mine almost every day. The fit is excellent. It takes a little while to make, but only because it is perfectly constructed. Making this will make you feel like a pro!

Thoroughly enjoyed making the jacket! I stretched my skills with this make but a clear tutorial guided (should I say glided?) me along the way!! It’s sooo satisfying when it all comes together! Looking forward to getting stuck into my next one!

This pattern is everything I hoped it would be, and more. I’m usually a sewist who enjoys a quick project and this was just the challenge I needed. Amazing lines, hems, and zips. The directions are clear (and fun!). I made the collared and hooded version, and love them both! I can hardly believe I MadeIt! Get ready to Glide!
