A really nice scrap buster pattern. It’s a bit wide for my slim and long kid, but the neckline is perfect to accommodate his big head. I always feel frustrated when choosing color combination for Kite Tee, but so far the kid loves them all.

  2. Ali Horwitz

I used this pattern to sew my first ever piece of clothing, and it came out even better than I imagined (minus a small snafu where I accidentally sewed a sleeve shut. oops!). I gave the T-shirt to my 3-year-old nephew for Christmas and he loves it! He has already asked for another! I was hesitant as a beginner, but the pattern was very easy to follow and gave me the confidence to keep sewing. Hug hoodies, here I come!!

  3. LKHainey

I enjoyed sewing this t-shirt and admiring the result so much that I made another one straight away! With multiple fabric matching options each one is a new challenge. A perfect pattern for those fabric scraps I love too much to throw away.

I’ve made a few of these tees (which is saying a lot from someone who is wary of sewing with knits) and they are in constant rotation in my daughters’ wardrobes. I love how creative you can get using your fabric scraps. So cool and the fit was spot on for my daughters.

  5. huisje boompje boefjes

A basic tee with a twist. Perfect for colourblocking and using up your fabric scraps. Suitable for all sewing levels. Great written tutorial, friendly and with humor. The different design stands out and really gets noticed.

  6. Toya

Perfect for using up scraps or upcycling jersey.

  7. Diana

Just love it! It’s looks so good and very easy to sew! The instructions are amazing!

What can I say? I LOVE this tee!
The instructions are easy and very well written, not cluttered with useless phrases. The pattern itself has a very nice minimalistic graphic which I love, the layers feature makes it even better.
The fit if the tee is nice, though I will have to make minor adjustments for the next ones, as my son is slim and long. But that’s not the pattern’s fault at all. There’s only one thing I didn’t like too much and that’s the 1cm seam allowance. My serger’s biggest setting is 9mm and the big seam allowance also bunches up a bit. I’ll reduce it to 6mm on my own, as that’s what I’m used to work with. But that’s only a personal preference.
I’d definitely recommend getting this pattern. I was able to use up leftovers from several other projects and I love that you can get so creative with this tee. I’m very happy to have found your patterns, as they’re a bit outside of the box and far from plain boring. That’s what we needed! Thank you!

It´s just a good fitting tee with, again, the MadeIt twist that just makes it one of a kind. Endless possibilities, your creativity is the limit. You can also combine it with small scraps of woven prints underlined with jersey, works great!
