Fabric recommendation

For our Slow Pants, we used beige and navy Ponte. French terry, stretch velvet, medium/heavyweight cotton elastane jersey knit also works well.

You should be able to stretch the fabric by a minimum of 20% and it should snap back to its original size after stretching.

My favourite pair of stretch pants ever!! I made my pair in a grey interlock fabric with a bright pink stripe down the side. They are so comfortable but look amazing. I’m planning to make many more of these, including some summer ones very, very soon!

It’s described as a lounge pants but I use it as allover pants even as a pajama pants to sleep. And when I feel no need (umm.. lazy) to change outfit I just walk outside with it. No joke! It’s that versatile

These are the most flattering stretch trousers I’ve owned, and I made them myself! Delighted with the pattern fit and the techniques were all easy to follow.

I recently made a pair of slow pants and I love them. The loose fit wide leg shape makes for a really cool, comfy pair of trousers that suit my body.
The instructions are really clear, simple and fun. I loved that they show how to do a high rise and a full butt adjustment- my joy is complete. Here’s to more pairs of Slow pants!

When comfort meets style! Depending on the fabrics you use, you get a sporty, casual, chic, elegant, … pair of trousers without giving in on comfort! You betcha I’ll be making plenty more of these!

Most pants patterns with elastic waist i hate. They look frumpy and not put together at all, I won a gym and am in gym clothes all the time, The waistband and pockets from the slow pants are lovely, the look like a clever designer pants detail. The pattern is easy to make and looks like a million bucks. Feels very nice and comfortable on, and you feel really put together, even though they are like secret pyama’s. I allready made 2, cant wait to play around with the stripe and make more. This pattern is a must have!!
